Trailer Talk had intended to be in Trenton, NJ today where the DRBC was set to vote on natural gas drilling regulations to move the process forward. Last Thursday, while Trailer Talk was at the DEC hearing in Binghamton, the DRBC announced it was postponing the vote scheduled for today on fracking regulations in the Delaware River Basin. (Do you live in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Delaware? Then you’re affected by the Delaware River Basin.) The vote was originally scheduled to propose drilling in the Delaware River Basin by the beginning of 2012. People are saying the DRBC posponed as a result of the Governor of Delaware who wrote a letter to the DRBC asserting that he would vote against the drilling proposal. Read Governor Markell’s letter here. The vote has yet to be rescheduled. Do you agree with Governor Markell?
