The DEC is holding four public hearings this month, welcoming public input on the environmental impact and proposed regulations for fracking.   These hearings allow people (that’s you!) to voice their opinion.  Let’s come together and show support for a ban on natural gas drilling to preserve our home!  The hearings focus on the dSGEIS (draft of Supplemental Generic Environmental Impact Statement), which if you have a year, you can read here.  Don’t be daunted by the document.  Come out to support a fracking ban.

Each hearing will have an afternoon session from 1pm to 4pm and an evening session from 6pm to 9pm. They will accept comments in written and oral format at the hearings.  See here for more info on attending and speaking.
